Samsung in talks to invest €1B in Mistral at €20B valuation
Samsung is in talks to invest up to one billion euros in French AI startup Mistral, which would value the company at around 20 billion euros. The investment discussions began one day after Samsung launched a new robotics unit called RX led by device experience chief TM Roh. Mistral was valued at 11.7 billion euros in September 2025, so this deal would nearly double its valuation in less than a year. Sweden's EQT is also said to be considering joining the funding round through its Scaleup Europe Fund.
