Submit a correction

Email info@laplaceatlas.com with the story URL, the disputed statement, the correction you propose, and evidence supporting the change. State whether you are the subject of the story or are acting for them.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge the request and preserve the relevant evidence.
  2. We compare the claim against primary material and independent corroboration where available.
  3. We correct confirmed errors promptly and update the structured event record.
  4. Material changes are disclosed in the story’s update history; minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note.

Right of reply

People and organizations directly affected by our reporting may submit a concise response. Publication is not automatic; responses may be edited for length, clarity, legality, and relevance, without changing their substance.

Removal requests

We generally correct accurate public-interest reporting rather than remove it. We consider removal, de-indexing, or anonymization requests individually where safety, privacy, legal obligations, or exceptional circumstances outweigh the continuing public interest.
