Applied Computing raises £14.8m for physics-grounded AI model for energy

Applied Computing, founded in 2022 and based in London, secured £14.8m in funding from investors KBR and Databricks Ventures. The AI and energy sector company is developing Orbital, a physics-grounded foundation AI model built for heavy energy operations.
