Atoms, a robotics startup founded by Travis Kalanick, raised $1.7 billion in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). Uber and other investors participated in the round. Ben Horowitz, co-founder of a16z, will join Atoms' board as part of the investment.
