NVIDIA releases Cosmos 3 Edge, a 4B-parameter on-device world model for robots

NVIDIA has released Cosmos 3 Edge, a 4-billion-parameter open world model designed to run on-device for robots and vision AI agents. The model enables machines to understand surroundings, reason in real time, and generate robot actions locally on memory-constrained systems in factories, warehouses, and hospitals. Cosmos 3 Edge is the third tier in the Cosmos 3 family, following Cosmos 3 Nano (16B) and Cosmos 3 Super (64B), which shipped on May 31, 2026 at GTC Taipei.
