Walden Robotics launches with $300M funding for general-purpose manufacturing robots

Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Walden Robotics emerged from stealth with $300 million in funding to build general-purpose robots for work in manufacturing and logistics. Toyota and Deviation Capital led the round, which valued the company at $1.1 billion.
