Anthropic expands voice mode to Opus and Sonnet models

Anthropic has made voice mode available on its Opus and Sonnet models, expanding beyond the Haiku model where the feature was previously exclusive. The company is also extending voice mode integration into third-party applications including Gmail, Slack, and Canva. Voice mode was launched last year initially focused on delivering quick answers with minimal delay. Users have adopted the feature for more complex use cases, working through business problems that Haiku was not designed to handle effectively. The expansion addresses user demand for more capable models in voice interactions.
