Google developing Frozen v2 chip with Gemini architecture built into silicon
Google is reportedly developing a server chip called Frozen v2 that embeds Gemini's architecture directly into hardware. According to internal sources, the chip could be 6 to 10 times more efficient than current TPUs and is scheduled for 2028. The chip is designed to reduce Google's AI inference costs.
