MicroAGI raises USD 55 million for factory robotics AI

MicroAGI has raised USD 55 million in a seed round led by Hummingbird Ventures, with participation from Northzone, LocalGlobe, Village Global, and redalpine. The Munich company develops Atlas, a platform that captures factory operating data through cameras and sensor-equipped gloves, recreates working conditions in simulation, and adapts existing AI models to specific industrial tasks. MicroAGI is positioning Atlas as a hardware- and model-agnostic deployment layer rather than building robots or foundation models itself. The company plans to use the funding to expand Atlas among manufacturers, grow its Shift data-collection network, increase its United States presence, and establish a research headquarters in Zurich. MicroAGI currently employs 37 people, while Shift has approximately 75 staff.
