Anthropic restores access to Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5 after export controls lifted

On June 12, the US government applied export controls to Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5, requiring Anthropic to restrict access to foreign nationals and suspend the models for all users. As of June 30, the export controls have been lifted. Fable 5 will be available globally starting July 1 on Claude Platform, Claude.ai, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, with inclusion in Pro, Max, Team, and select Enterprise plans through July 7.
